I'm still buzzing from the incredible success of the Macksville Laneway Festival on Saturday, March 11. Seeing the Nambucca Valley community come together in such large numbers to celebrate local arts and performance was truly heartwarming.

The Big Bonanza in Coffs Harbour featured an impressive lineup of bands and comedians, including headliners like Wolfmother, You Am I, Dave Hughes, Judith Lucy, and Phil Jamieson of Grinspoon. The event seamlessly blended music and comedy, offering something for everyone. Attendees enjoyed delicious food and standout performances from The Beautiful Girls, Drapht, and The Bamboos, making it a highlight for music and comedy enthusiasts alike.

As I navigated through the crowd, I was struck by the festival's inclusive vibe. With 4500 attendees of all ages mingling freely, there was a sense of unity that transcended generational boundaries.
